ANNUAL EVENT
Every winter, CFSP students and staff set out for a full-day outing into the countryside around Islamabad. The annual winter picnic is one of the most anticipated events on the school calendar, giving students a chance to explore nature, enjoy fresh air, and spend time together outside of the classroom.
Recent winter picnics have included visits to fruit orchards where students can explore the grounds, take photographs, and enjoy the beautiful landscape together.
Annual Event
The summer picnic is an adventure for the whole school. In recent years, students and teachers have enjoyed boating trips on beautiful lakes in the hills above Islamabad, as well as meals out at local restaurants — giving students experiences they will remember long after they leave school.
Community Visit
Islamabad’s biking community paid a special visit to CFSP school, bringing their motorcycles for students to see up close and even sit on. The visit was a highlight of the year — bringing excitement, laughter, and a memorable experience for children who rarely get to explore the world beyond their daily routine.
Events like this remind students that they are a valued part of the wider community, and that the community cares about them.
Community Visit
Medical students from Al-Shifa Hospital regularly visit CFSP to spend time with the children, sharing meals, activities, and celebrations. These visits foster empathy and awareness among future healthcare professionals, while bringing joy and new connections to CFSP students.
The warm relationship between Al-Shifa and CFSP is a wonderful example of how community institutions can work together to enrich the lives of special needs children.

Community Visit
Pakistan’s Independence Day is celebrated with pride and joy at CFSP. Students wear green and white, take part in arts and crafts activities, and celebrate their national identity with face-painting, flags, and festivities.
These moments of shared celebration are an important part of students’ sense of belonging — to their school, their community, and their nation.
